Recently ADJ lighting, of the the largest US entertainment lighting manufacturers, featured a project by Matt Wisdom.
Hamilton Skate place utilizes a basic fixture, the REVO 4, usually used for simple effects, as part of a giant matrix, controlled via ART-NET and utilizing approximately 43 universes of data total.
By controlling the REVO 4 in a matrix from a central source, amazing effects can be created, only some are shown here in this video.
The REVO 4 units are “embedded” in the ceiling, above clear acrylic ceiling tiles, leaving a clean appearance, and sometimes leaving patrons wondering if Wisdom Esoterica somehow built lights into the very rink floor itself.
